Summary:

Whether you are a doula, midwife, doctor or other type of birth worker passionate about maternal health, we invite you to join us as we chat over coffee and croissants about one of the greatest imminent challenges of our day: holistic, impactful postpartum support.

We're partnering with Baby+Co in hosting Rebecca Egbert, founder of The Mother Love, creator of Mother's Little Helper, and Minneapolis midwife, as she leads us in a powerful discussion about how we can transform typical postpartum support with a more holistic approach.

We know women are fierce; they are world changers, they are incredibly hard workers, and we must support the transformation into motherhood emotionally, physically, spiritually and mentally.

Meet Rebecca:

A midwife for 8 years serving in the Twin Cities area, Rebecca is a tireless champion of moms and has specialized in Women’s Health for more than 18 years. She is leading a new wave in Maternal Health, bringing a dynamic, holistic approach to an often sterile system. Rebecca brings her immense knowledge of mental, physical, emotional and spiritual health to her work. She brings the modern woman the tools needed for her survival in her quest for awesomeness.

Rebecca strongly advocates for the improvement and advancement of Maternal Health with Every Mother Counts. She runs as a member of Team EMC, and donates a percentage of business profits, as well as time and energy to help make pregnancy and childbirth safe for every mother.

A long time ago, she graduated with a BA in Education from Prescott College, and later received a Graduate Degree in Midwifery Sciences from Bastyr University. She practiced Midwifery in both birth centers and as a solo practitioner before making the transition to focus exclusively on improving Postpartum Care in the United States. Rebecca digs a good solid ultra-marathon, a strong cup of coffee with cream, and loving up on her people as often as possible.
